About this painting −
In this painting, I wanted to capture the quiet moment when winter stillness meets a sky burning with color. I painted it as a memory of returning home at dusk, when the last warmth of the day lingers in the air even as the snow settles into silence. I remember the feeling of approaching a distant house, the soft hum of a car engine breaking the calm, and the surreal contrast between the cold blue ground and the fiery horizon. This work is my attempt to preserve that fleeting sense of belonging, of returning, of witnessing how light can transform even the coldest landscape into something deeply alive.
