About this painting −
I painted this landscape as a meeting place between fire and silence. The glowing orange sky carries the last warmth of day, while the dark mountain rises from a deep burgundy horizon like a quiet, steady presence. Lavender bands of paint move across the scene, suggesting distant clouds, fading light, and memories that remain after sunset. I wanted the work to feel both expansive and intimate: a moment of stillness that can follow you into the room and reveal something new each time you look at it. The black frame deepens the contrast and gives the painting a strong, contemporary presence on the wall.
