About this painting −
In this painting, I wanted to hold onto that fleeting instant when the sky shifts from warmth to stillness. The lone tree became an anchor for my thoughts—a quiet witness to the fading glow rising behind it. As I worked, I felt the contrast between the vibrant sky and the darkened land echo something deeply personal: that moment when light retreats but doesn’t quite surrender. This piece is my attempt to preserve the fragile calm that comes just before night settles in, when the world pauses and breathes in silence.
